B'luru MLA's nephew arrested for Facebook post that triggered violence

Bengaluru Police has arrested P Naveen, the nephew of Pulakeshinagar MLA Akhanda Srinivas Murthy of Congress, for sharing a Facebook post that allegedly insulted Prophet Muhammad. A mob comprising hundreds of people attacked the MLA's house, torched vehicles and vandalised a police station after the Facebook post. The police also arrested 150 people who were allegedly involved in the violence.
