Cleantech startup GPS Renewables raises $3 million

Bengaluru-based cleantech startup GPS Renewables has raised $3 million in Series A funding, led by Netherlands-based Hivos-Triodos Fund and Hyderabad-based Caspian. The startup uses biogas technologies in its core products to manage organic waste and accelerate substitution of fossil fuel with bio-energy. It was founded in 2012 by IIM Bangalore alumni Sreekrishna Sankar and Mainak Chakraborty.
