CoWIN completely safe, reports of data breach baseless & mischievous: Centre

Centre has issued a statement after reports claimed that personal data of people registered on CoWIN portal had been leaked on Telegram. "All such reports are without any basis and mischievous in nature. CoWIN...is completely safe with adequate safeguards for data privacy," the statement said. All steps are being taken to ensure security of the CoWIN data, it further said.
