'Europeans with blue eyes, blonde hair being killed', says Ukraine official; criticised

While talking about the current Russia-Ukraine conflict, Ukraine's Deputy Chief Prosecutor David Sakvarelidze said, "It's really emotional for me because I see European people with blue eyes and blonde hair being killed...with (Russian President) Vladimir Putin's missiles." Sakvarelidze has been criticised for the statement with many calling it 'racist' and indicative of 'white supremacy'.
