Govt releases list of countries reporting highest number of Omicron cases

The Centre on Friday said that 108 countries have reported over 1.5 lakh cases of Omicron variant of COVID-19 and 26 deaths related to it. UK has the highest number of Omicron cases at 90,906. It is followed by Denmark (30,954), Canada (6,978), Norway (5,240), Germany (3,198), US (3,180), South Africa (1,629), France (1,447), Australia (966) and Estonia (830).
