Gujarat university system hacked; Aadhaar, PAN of 1,200 students leaked

The Gujarat Technological University (GTU) has stated that its system was hacked on Thursday and personal information of nearly 1,200 Bachelor of Engineering students, including their photographs, PAN cards, Aadhaar cards and Voter ID card details, were leaked online. The university said it has registered a complaint with the Ahmedabad Cyber Crime Cell, adding that the hacker would be identified.
