IAS officer's son dies of gunshot wound days after father's arrest in Punjab

Punjab IAS officer Sanjay Popli's son Kartik Popli died of a gunshot wound at their residence in Chandigarh, days after his father's arrest in a corruption case. The incident took place when a Punjab Vigilance Bureau team had gone to Popli's house for enquiry on Saturday. While police said Kartik died by suicide, his family claimed he was killed.
