Imarti Devi resigns from Madhya Pradesh Cabinet after bypoll loss

Madhya Pradesh's Minister of Women and Child Development Imarti Devi has tendered her resignation from the Cabinet following her loss in the recently held bypolls from Dabra seat. She lost to Congress' Suresh Raje in the bypolls. Imarti Devi was among the 22 MLAs who had quit the Congress party and joined the BJP along with Jyotiraditya Scindia in March.
