India becomes first country to successfully land spacecraft near Moon's south pole
With the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3's Vikram lander on the lunar surface, India has become the first country to successfully land a spacecraft near the Moon's south pole. The landing will be followed by the rollout of the Pragyan rover, the ISRO said. The ₹615-crore Chandrayaan-3 mission was launched on July 14.
