India may lose output worth ₹2 lakh cr due to 2nd COVID-19 wave: RBI

India is estimated to lose output worth ₹2 lakh crore in 2021-22 because of the second wave of COVID-19, the RBI said in its monthly bulletin. The estimation is on the assumption that the second wave's impact will be contained in the first quarter, it added. The speed and scale of vaccination will shape the path of recovery, RBI said.
