India record their best medal tally in history of Olympics with 7 medals

India have recorded their best medal tally in the history of Olympics after winning seven medals at the Tokyo Olympics, overtaking their previous best tally of six medals in 2012 Games. India won one gold, two silver and four bronze medals at Tokyo Games. India's gold won by javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra is their first in athletics in Olympics history.
