Moonlighting employees served tax notices for not reporting extra income: Report

The Income Tax Department is reportedly issuing notices to employees who earned additional income apart from their regular salary but didn't declare it in their returns. The Department found many IT, accounting and management professionals were getting payments from two or more companies, ET reported. In some cases, income from moonlighting was found to be higher than the regular salary.
