Rape victim's family gave consent to funeral at night: Hathras DM

UP's Hathras DM Praveen Kumar Laxkar rejected allegations that the last rites of the 19-year-old gangrape victim who died at a hospital were conducted without her family's consent. He stated, "The father and brother gave their consent to conduct the funeral at night. The family members were also present at the funeral." Earlier, her family claimed she was forcibly cremated.
