Rare case of monkeypox detected in UK, govt lists symptoms

An individual, who has recent travel history from Nigeria, has been diagnosed with monkeypox in England, said the UK government. The rare viral infection can spread when someone is in close contact with an infected person; however, there's very low risk of transmission to general population. Initial symptoms include fever, headache, muscle aches, swollen lymph nodes, chills and exhaustion.
