Surat set to get India's 1st bullet train station, to be ready by 2024

India's first bullet train station will come up in Gujarat's Surat. The station will be completed by 2024, reports said. Minister for Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw, visited the site on Monday to review the progress of the project. "We are trying our best to start bullet train services between Surat and Billimora in 2026," Vaishnaw said.
