Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar passes away aged 92

Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar, who was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital, passed away on Sunday at the age of 92. The condition of the singer, who had been hospitalised since last month, had deteriorated and she was on ventilator in the ICU, her doctor had stated. She was hospitalised after she contracted COVID-19.
