Warning issued for fresh spell of heatwave over 6 states/UTs; list released

The IMD has said that a fresh spell of heatwave conditions is likely to commence over northwest India from May 7 and over central India from May 8. Heatwave conditions are likely over north Madhya Maharashtra on May 5, over Rajasthan between May 7-9, over south Haryana, Delhi, southwest Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha on May 8 and 9.
