China and Russia's air forces conducted their first joint aerial exercise over Sea of Japan, East China Sea and the Western Pacific, China's defence ministry said. The patrol, the first one since Russia invaded Ukraine in February, is part of annual military exercise, ministry added. Notably, Japan expressed concerns over Russian and Chinese fighter jets' presence near its airspace today.
