A senior officer of Himachal Pradesh has absconded after testing COVID-19 positive at Forest Research Institute (FRI) Old Hostel in Dehradun, said District Magistrate R Rajesh Kumar on Thursday. This comes after 11 IFS officers at FRI Old Hostel and six people in Tibetan Colony tested positive in Dehradun. Both the areas were declared containment zones following the test results.
