A day after it recorded the highest single-day spike since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Delhi on Friday registered 24,383 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours while the positivity rate reached 30.64%. Thirty-four people died while 26,236 people recovered. As per data, nearly 80,000 tests were conducted as opposed to nearly 99,000 tests conducted a day ago.
