Archaeologists discovered an ancient lava tube in Saudi Arabia, where humans sought shelter for over 7,000 years. Situated in the volcanic field of Harrat Khaybar, the site, named Umm Jirsan, yielded artefacts, rock art, and skeletal remains. Domesticated animal bones and rock art depicting livestock found at the site suggest it served as a crucial resource for pastoralists.
