While much of the country is actively participating in the electoral process, certain areas are witnessing deserted polling booths. As of 9:30 AM, the Ekanapuram village booth in Kancheepuram recorded only 9 votes. Vengaivayal village has also decided to boycott the election. Six districts in East Nagaland have boycotted the Lok Sabha elections.
