BJP on Tuesday announced Tashi Gyalson as its candidate from Ladakh for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, dropping sitting MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal. "BJP announced a new candidate...without providing transparent and compelling justification," Namgyal said following the announcement. As per reports, BJP dropped Namgyal amid resentment towards the ruling party among a section of Buddhists in Leh.
