Actor Manoj Bajpayee's late father Radhakant had auditioned for an acting course at the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune, as per journalist-author Piyush Pandey's book 'Manoj Bajpayee: The Definitive Biography'. "The interesting thing is the presence of Manoj Kumar and Dharmendra on the campus during the same time," reads the book. Radhakant died aged 83 in 2021.
