Plans to build a luxurious futuristic sustainable city near an active Japanese volcano are nearing completion. Woven City, being built miles away from Mount Fuji, is expected to welcome its first 2,000 residents by year-end as part of a "mass experiment". Woven City will provide a 'living laboratory' to test prototypes of renewable and energy-efficient self-driving vehicles.
