Mumbai's civic body BMC demolished nearly 25 illegal structures on Wednesday to clear a bottleneck in Pathanwadi, Malad East. BMC will demolish 127 more illegal structures in the area in the next 15 days. An official said, "Compensation has been worked out for 81 eligible structures." The road will be widened up to 18.30 m to ease traffic movement.
