Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) is a ballot-less system connected with Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) that prints a paper slip when a voter casts their vote. The slip contains name and symbol of party the voter favoured. It is visible for seven seconds through a transparent window before it's cut and dropped in a sealed box inside VVPAT machine.
