On the lines of Vande Bharat Express trains, Indian Railways will introduce Vande Metro in selected cities in India and Bengaluru will be one of the first cities to get Vande Metro, the railway authorities said. The design and production of Vande Metro fleet will be reportedly completed this year and production of trains will begin in next financial year.
