Former Zimbabwe cricketer Guy Whittall was attacked by a leopard while he was trekking through the conservancy that he runs in the Humani region of Zimbabwe. He was accompanied by his dog Chikara, who was also bitten while trying to save Whittall. He was airlifted to a hospital and underwent emergency surgery.
