Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has said he withdrew from many UK events over Britain's decision to treat people vaccinated against COVID-19 in India as unvaccinated. Tharoor said he pulled out of a debate at the Cambridge Union as well as launch events for the UK edition of his book, adding, "It's offensive to ask fully vaccinated Indians to quarantine."
