A girl child and five other people were killed after the car they were travelling in collided with a stationary truck in Telangana on Thursday morning. The truck was parked on the roadside for repairs along the Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway in Suryapet district's Kodada, police said. Four passengers sustained minor injuries. The victims were going to Vijayawada when the collision happened.
