Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla said Vodafone Idea is "quite debt-light" with "only ₹4,000 crore of debts due to banks". Speaking about the money raised from the FPO, Birla said, "[We will] spend the money on capex...It is a new life for Vodafone Idea." Shares of Vodafone Idea listed at 7.27% premium over FPO price on Thursday.
