Kunal Shah-led CRED secured the in-principle approval from the Reserve Bank of India for the payment aggregator licence this week, TechCrunch reported. The central bank has granted in-principle approvals to several firms including Pine Labs and Reliance Payment over the past year. Multiple companies such as Zoho and Juspay also got RBI's final approval earlier this year.
