BJP member Bhupendra Patel was elected as the legislative party leader in a meeting of Gujarat BJP MLAs on Saturday. He will continue as Gujarat CM and will take the oath on Monday, December 12. BJP swept the Gujarat elections by winning 156 out of 182 seats while Congress won 17 seats. Patel resigned from the CM post yesterday.
