The Sri Lankan government said that it's not paying for the overseas stay of ex-President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, who fled the country after mass protests. "All such expenses are borne by the personal funds of the former President," the Information Department said. Rajapaksa is currently in Thailand. He arrived in Thailand last week from Singapore after his short-term visit pass expired.
