At least two persons were killed after a boat carrying 50 passengers on board capsized in Mahanadi river in Odisha's Jharsuguda district on Friday, police said. Apart from the two dead, seven others have gone missing and a search operation has been launched. Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik has announced a compensation of ₹4 lakh for the family of the deceased.
