Earliest-known galaxy spotted 13.5 bn light-years away, pic released

Astronomers have discovered what appears to be the earliest, most distant galaxy ever spotted- a galaxy named HD1. It is estimated to be 13.5 billion light-years away from Earth and is said to have existed 330 million years after the Big Bang. "HD1 would represent a giant baby in the delivery room of the early universe," said an astronomer.
