Uttar Pradesh's Banda was the second hottest at 46.8°C, while Sriganganagar in Rajasthan and Bapatla and Rentachintala in Andhra Pradesh each recorded 46.0°C. Odisha's Titilagarh, Madhya Pradesh's Nowgong, and Khajuraho followed, each recording 45.8°C.
