Bengaluru recorded 20,121 coronavirus cases and seven deaths on Friday, according to official data. The number of containment zones in the city has risen to 578, with the highest number in Mahadevpura at 227. The city's positivity rate for the week till January 13 rose to 14.04% as over 90,000 people were infected with the virus during that period.
