Zepto explored a majority stake sale in the company to e-commerce giant Flipkart, but the talks did not progress due to issues around valuation. Flipkart wanted to acquire Zepto at a valuation below $2 billion. It was looking for at least a $3 billion price tag, sources confirmed to The Arc. Zepto was valued at $1.4 billion last year.
