India reported 2,468 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The active cases in the country stand at 33,318. The coronavirus-related death toll so far has reached 5,28,733. This comes a day after India reported 1,968 cases, the lowest daily rise in the number of fresh COVID-19 cases since May.
