The central government had to come to the rescue of the state government to mitigate the prevailing drought situation in Karnataka, said former chief minister and Gadag-Haveri Lok Sabha constituency BJP candidate Basavaraj Bommai.Talking to reporters here on Tuesday, he slammed the Congress leaders for holding a stir seeking drought relief.
