Union Minister Narayan Rane, who was expelled from Shiv Sena in 2005, claimed that former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray was not his father late Bal Thackeray's choice for the CM post. "Had Uddhav been his choice, Balasaheb would have made him CM instead of me in 1999," he said. He added that Uddhav was a "zero-performance person".
