A man opened fire near White House security perimeter on Saturday evening. He was later shot dead by Secret Service officers after an exchange of gunfire, officials said. A bystander was also injured during the shooting. A Secret Service spokesperson said US President Donald Trump, who was inside the White House at the time, was not impacted by the incident.
