An ICRA report said that an increase in tea prices following global supply issues will likely offset the impact of increased wage rates in West Bengal and Assam. ICRA said that overall financial performance will likely see a year-on-year improvement in FY23. The report said that orthodox tea prices are at all-time high due to production disruptions in Sri Lanka.
