After reporting less than 30,000 COVID-19 cases for four straight days, India saw 30,570 new COVID-19 cases and 431 deaths in the last 24 hours. Kerala accounted for nearly 58% of the new cases in the country as the state reported 17,681 cases and 208 deaths on Wednesday. India's active caseload stood at 3,42,923, while the death toll reached 4,43,928.
