The Voter ID card or the Electors Photo Identity Card (EPIC) is the main document of identification of a voter. As per ECI, 12 alternative documents are acceptable for voting. These include Aadhaar, MGNREGA Job Card, Bank/Post Office passbooks, Driving License, PAN, Indian Passport, NPR Smart Card, pension document, government Service Identity Cards, MPs/MLAs/MLCs' identity cards and UDID Card.
