Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman criticised India's first PM, Jawaharlal Nehru, for taking Kashmir issue to United Nations in 1947. "It was our first PM...who internationalised the Kashmir issue...Why...This issue shouldn't have gone to a global forum...We could've handled it," she said in Rajya Sabha. Referring to Pakistan, she said, "Till today, our neighbours are misusing (this) move."
