Microsoft has unveiled a small AI model named Phi-3-Mini that can be deployed on a phone. Despite its small size, the language model's overall performance rivals that of large language models like GPT-3.5, the company said. Phi-3-Mini occupies about 1.8GB of memory and can be used for tasks such as content creation.
