In response to the petition of the accused in Sister Abhaya murder case, Kerala High Court has suspended their life imprisonment sentence and has released them on bail with conditions. Father Thomas Kottoor and Sister Sephy had been found guilty in case in 2020. CBI had said that Abhaya was killed after she found the accused in a compromising position.
